This weekend in New Westminster The Gallery at Queen’s Park is going to be hosting the Cedar Sage and Sweetgrass Indigenous Art Group exhibition.
This is a free event to attend that is going to be on from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.
This event is going to be ongoing and the exhibition dates are from July 2 – July 25 2021.
The opening reception is going to be on July 3 at 1 pm and will feature the Wild Mocassin Dancers. This is an even that looks to highlight and encourage Indigenous artists.
Where: The Gallery at Queen’s Park Centennial Lodge, Queen’s Park, New Westminster
When: Wendesday – Friday: 10am – 2pm & Saturday & Sunday: 11am – 4pm
What: Cedar Sage & Sweetgrass Indigenous Art Group exhibition was created with the goal of giving Indigenous Artists a forum to show art, as well as be able to encourage others and seek community.

This art exhibit in New West starts tomorrow and will be ongoing for those who want to check it out over the next several weeks up until the 25th of July.
Some of the shows include Indigenous entertainment and others have had Indigenous food, coffee, tea, and wine. This is a chance to encourage young artists today by taking the time to experience some new Indigenous art that is a part of this art exhibit in New Westminster.
