Kitsilano Restaurants Right By The Beach

Kitsilano is a beautiful area of Vancouver to explore and enjoy. You’ve got the Kits pool, Kits beach, tennis courts, and many great pubs and venues nearby. In the summer this is one of the best places to be if you want to be by the ocean with great views, fantastic food nearby, and plenty available to you for options in things to do.

Find Several Restaurants Near The Beach

Kitsilano Beach is one of the most popular in the region and offers great beach space, ocean and mountain views, and you can find a large pool at this area too. In the summer when things get busy it might be difficult to find some parking, though there are paid parking options you could find. There is also public transportation available which might be the easiest option.

What Skytrain Station Is Near Kitsilano Beach?

If you are looking to take public transportation options then there are several stations that you might want to go to. The first is probably Broadway-City Hall Station which is going to place you around Granville Island in the Fairview region of Vancouver, right next to the Vancouver General Hospital.

This is about a 40-45 minute walk to the Kitsilano Beach area, depending on how fast you’re walking. There are bus options that can get you closer if you want to transfer to a bus after the skytrain.

Olympic Village Station is another option that is close to City Hall Station and it will bring you about the same distance away from Kitsilano beach. For a third option you could easily travel to Burrard Station and catch a bus from there that would bring you close to Kitsilano Beach.

Once you get off the bus from Burrard station you would be able to get to the beach in 1 minute.

You can also find parks in the area like Charleson Park, Jonathan Rogers Park, and others. This area of Vancouver is a beautiful place to explore.

If you aren’t interested in walking or taking a bus then you could also catch a taxi from the skytrain station to Kitsilano Beach and it would be about a 10 minute drive depending on traffic.

Want to spend the day at the beach and not have to worry about parking? Opt for public transportation because it will get you right where you need to go. This might be the best option instead of trying to tackle with traffic and parking yourself.

Nook Italian restaurant in Kits has some of the beach Italian food in the city. The restaurant is in a great spot too that is only a 1 minute walk from Kitsilano Beach. You can dine in here or do pick-up if you’re craving some Italian before or after your beach day.

If you are looking to get closer to the beach then you could also look to The Boathouse Restaurant for dinner or lunch too.

This is a great restaurant in Kitsilano Beach that serves seafood, soups, salads, burgers, and more. They’ve got an oyster bar, hot crab dip for 2, a seafood platter to share, king crab legs, lobster tails, and crab stuffed prawns.
