Trina Hunt was reported missing on Jan 18th 2021 and it is reported that she was last seen by her husband who alleges that he saw her at home that morning before he left for work. Her husband reportedly left for work around 6 in the morning and when he returned Trina wasn’t anywhere to be found.
Later on in March human remains were found near the Silver Creek area of Hope B.C. and they were confirmed to be Trina Hunt later on. A memorial shortly after in Port Moody outside her residence started to grow. The family previously thanked the community for their support.
The homicide investigation is still ongoing for Tina Hunt. We are still searching for the truth about what happened.
Just recently, earlier in May there was a new poster campaign that was launched in the province to bring awareness to the case and ongoing investigation. Someone who might have been in Hope, B.C. or on their way to that area etc might have seen something that day that could help. Those posters have been spread around Hope to try and inspire anyone to come forward who might know something, it might trigger a memory for someone.
While her husband didn’t find Trina at home when he returned from work that day he alleges, it’s reported that Trina’s belongings were at home. Items like her wallet, car, keys, but not herself of course.
There are also some confusing messages that her family have previously shared that are believed to have allegedly been sent from Trina’s phone over that weekend before she was reported missing. Her family has said that these messages seemed out of character for her, as well as the act of up and leaving without a trace.
According to the family, it’s also alleged that the husband indicated that he and Trina visited Hope at least 2 days before she went missing. He also reportedly took a lie detector passed and passed it and no charges have been laid, there don’t seem to be any suspects yet.
