The Easiest Way To Plant More Trees

There are many tree planting charities that you can find around the world today. The best thing about tree planting charities and companies is that they help you to plant trees easily.

The fastest and easiest way for you to plant trees might be by making a donation to one of those charities or by supporting a company that donates and plants a tree when you make a purchase with them.

Make a purchase = Plant a tree!

Some companies have been known to plant more than 1 tree for every purchase. Then there are others, like the Canadian apparel company Tentree, that have had the goal to plant as many as 10 trees for every item that gets purchased.

Companies that have contributed to planting trees are those like Tentree, one of the fastest growing apparel companies in North America, along with others like Baron Fig, Woodchuck USA, and Steller.

A few years ago Tentree and Steller partnered together to try and target millions of travelers with their ‘Tell a Story, Plan a Tree” campaign and get many trees planted by reaching out to those international travelers.

Making Tree Planting Accessible

This has got to be one of the easiest ways to get busy planting trees. You don’t even need to leave your house to do it. You can just pull up a website for one of those companies and make a purchase and they will make sure that the trees get planted.

There are other ways to go about planting trees though if you are interested in getting more hands-on. You might want to go out and take advantage of the tree sales going on in certain B.C. communities.

You might find that your own area holds its own tree sale and there are great deals on different trees that you can plant in your own backyard.

If you do not have a backyard yourself then you might want to plant it in the yard of a family member or someone who you know that owns the property space for it.

Find a tree sale in your area

Cities around B.C. have been holding tree sales for years now and those tree sales make it much easier for you to be able to find great trees for sale so that you can plant some in your own community area.

Other ways that companies have made it easy today to get into the business of planting trees is by offering corporate gifts in this area that meet that need of people wanting to plant trees.

There are some companies, like Evergreen Memories, that offer tree seedlings as corporate gifts, or they can be used as wedding favors etc, and they make it easy for people to get started.

This business is something that brings the tree-planting opportunity to a variety of different corporate events and celebrations. In doing so it plays a role in encouraging people all over to think about taking part in planting more trees.

Making It Easy to Plant: Many people out there today might want to plant more trees but they just don’t know how or where to get started, this can help them think about it in a new way. Why not incorporate tree planting into corporate events and personal celebrations like weddings and more? It makes it much easier for people to access tree seedlings and take it right home with them to get started.

Planting 2 billion trees across Canada in 10 years

At the end of last year we saw that the Canadian Minister of Natural Resources had launched a plan to try and plant at least 2 billion trees in Canada over the next decade. The hope is that this will play a significant role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and is also going to create thousands of jobs.

  1. It’s great to plant more trees but also important to leave standing the ones that are already there as they are part of complex ecosystems that have developed over long periods of time.
