Community Still Seeking Justice For Trina Hunt

A body was recently discovered in Hope, B.C. and it had been confirmed to be the body of Trina Hunt. She went missing earlier this year and her husband was the one who reported her missing after he came home from work and she wasn’t there.

How did she make it from Port Moody to Hope?

The missing person investigation involving Trina Hunt has quickly shifted into a homicide investigation that is still ongoing. The remains might have been discovered but we still don’t know the truth yet about what happened to Trina Hunt.

The community came together in a big way to look for her, spread awareness on social media, and keep her memory alive for months after she went missing.

Right now the Trina Hunt investigation is still an ongoing investigation and authorities are not going to release any more details on it at this time.

The memorial for her in Port Moody outside of her home has been growing as more people come to pay their respects after the news circled that her body had been discovered.

Details of Trina Hunt Case: What We Know So Far

The circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Trina Hunt have been deemed suspicious as it’s reported to have been out of character for her to up and go missing without any warning or trace. This ongoing homicide investigation involving Trina Hunt is a top priority for investigators right now.

Earlier this year after she was reported missing there was a search that was conducted to try and find her, using drones, canine teams, and many volunteers have dedicated their time to the cause as well.

We still do not know what happened to Trina Hunt, why was she in Hope? How did she get there? There are many questions left unanswered. The family as well is wanting to know more, they are still searching for the truth and answers as to what happened to Trina.

The remains were found over 120km away from where it was last reported that Trina Hunt had been seen and those searching for answers can only hope that investigators will find more information to piece this puzzle together.

Right now it just doesn’t make sense, the shock is still being processed.

It’s reported that a body, confirmed to be Trina Hunt, was found in the Silver Creek area of Hope B.C. and it’s also reported that authorities had spent several weeks trying to identify the remains that were found back on March 29th 2021.

It’s believed that Trina Hunt was last seen in Port Moody at her home, her husband was the last one to see her before he left for work around 6 in the morning.

There still aren’t any suspects that have been named in the case but a great deal of speculation circles the disappearance of Trina Hunt. Many in the community are waiting to find out the truth and want to know what happened to Trina.

Keeping The Memory of Trina Hunt Alive

The family has urged anyone who is interested in trying to keep the memory of Trina Hunt alive to donate to a GoFundMe page that was set up for a mother of 2 from Chilliwack that has also gone missing.

There are many other women who have gone missing in B.C. and around Canada. Shae was a mother of two from Chilliwack and was last seen on Jan 30.

Authorities in B.C. have asked for help from the public in the case of missing Shaelene Keeler Bell from Chilliwack, after her vehicle had allegedly been found in a semi remote location and her belongings inside including her phone. The car, a grey 2021 Hyundai Tucson, was reportedly discovered on Ballam Road at the entrance of the Peg Leg Bar venue.

They’ve searched the nearby river and used helicopters to search for her in the area but haven’t found anything yet. Hundreds of posters have also been spread across the community to keep her memory alive and spread awareness for her missing persons case.

Still Searching For Shaelene Keeler Bell

There is a $10,000 reward that has been offered by a local realtor, for her safe return. Bell’s family have been eager to keep the search going for her, they are eager to know the truth.

Her family stands by the assertion that Shae would never abandon her children, saying they are her entire life. They’ve also thanked the community for their support and help with search efforts throughout this ordeal.

It is reported that Shaelene Keeler Bell had last been seen at her apartment that was located in the 9300 block of Edward Street. It’s also alleged that she was last seen at around 8:30 at night and then her car had been found two days later.

  1. How utterly appalling,

    I do hope the Homicide investigators have more success than the Missing Persons Team. I know that even a definitive result will not bring the poor woman back but at least it might provide a degree of closure in time for the family.
