Easter is coming up soon and B.C. officials have suggested we might see a change to indoor religious services by that time. They have already said we might also see a new normal by summer, with more COVID-19 restrictions being eased before then. New guidelines are expected to be announced sometime soon in regards to further lifting of those restrictions.

Already, they’ve made changes to small outdoor gatherings and indoor church services could be next.

For Easter you might be looking for some events around Vancouver to enjoy, and in Whistler there are some being held at the Fairmont Château Whistler.

Whistler for Easter: Enjoy the Easter Feast To-Go

At the Fairmont in Whistler you can take advantage of the Easter Feast to go that they are offering which features a leg of lamb for $199 (plus taxes and service charges etc) or glazed ham for $179 (plus taxes and service charges), between April 2nd and April 4th this year.

Order your feast to-go from the Portobello Restaurant and you get to take the day off from cooking.

The two mains being offered with this special are either the applewood-smoked leg of lamb or the tarragon and honey mustard-glazed ham to choose from. Both of those main dishes are served with a variety of trimmings and you also get dessert as well.

They also need at least 48 hours notice for the order as well, so make sure to plan ahead of time. And that isn’t the only Easter special they’re offering either, if you happen to be in the Whistler area and looking for something special.

Easter Brunch at Fairmont Whistler

For the Easter Brunch at Fairmont Whistler is something a little different, being featured at The Wildflower. For adults this brunch event is going to be $49 plus other taxes and service charges etc, and for children between 6-12 it is $29 plus taxes and other service charges.

This brunch special can be found between Sunday April 4th at 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

This will be an a la carte Easter Brunch at The Wildflower in Whistler and that will offer a personal serving of fruit, family-style pastries, and also a delicious breakfast entree of your choice. You can also get a mimosa or Caesar drink for those who are of age and who want a drink with brunch.

If you are looking for something delicious to enjoy for Easter and do not want to do the cooking then the best option might be trying the to-go feast so that you can enjoy at home or at a hotel if you are staying nearby.

These are just a few food events going on in Whistler for Easter that you can find at the Fairmont Whistler and the in-person Easter brunch would be a great family-friendly event that you can also bring kids to as well.
